Description
Charcoal life study of "Katie." Utilising the unpredictable qualities of charcoal mediums I play a game with the various marks and values working intuitively to find form and cultivate beauty from chaos.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
I am a multi-disciplined artist flowing between abstract and contemporary compositions as well as digital fine arts. Having a strong interest in natural textures and formations such as fungi and minerals most of my work is heavily influenced by these.
Having had a long career as an Engineer identifying the structure and processes found in nature have become a new inspiration for me. I am excited pursue a new world of creative ventures.
Currently working at a design studio as an under painter.
