Autumn Whisper | Delicate Pastel Miniature that captures the Soft Autumn Season., 2026

Natalia Balashova (Amorepastels)

"Autumn Whisper" is a delicate pastel miniature that captures the soft, poetic mood of the fading autumn season. The elongated vertical format emphasizes slender tree silhouettes emerging from a gentle mist. Warm ochre, pink, and golden hues evoke a quiet, dreamy atmosphere, inviting the viewer to listen to the subtle whispers of nature in transition.

"Autumn Whisper" is a small pastel composition where every line and layer of color creates an atmosphere. Natalia Balashova uses delicate pastel work to convey subtle nuances of light and texture—from the translucent sky to the chestnut-golden crowns. The vertical, elongated format emphasizes the upward striving and soft slenderness of the trees, while the blurred contours create a sense of memory or dream. This is not a naturalistic landscape, but a lyrical sketch—an invitation to pause for a moment and listen to the whispers of autumn.

Framing options are customizable to the buyer's preference: a mat (passepartout) ranging from 1 to 10 cm in width, and a frame between 1 and 5 cm wide. The artwork can be protected with museum glass or acrylic glazing. Depending on the framing choices, the final dimensions of the piece may vary from 44 × 23 cm up to 64 × 43 cm.

Ideal for creating a calm, warm accent in any interior space such as a bedroom, study, or living room. The pastel technique requires soft, diffused lighting and protection from direct sunlight and humidity to preserve its delicate colors and textures.
