Description
"Conversation of Objects: The Golden Persimmon" serves as a bridge between the physical and the mystical. This 50x50 cm oil painting elevates the humble fruit to its ancient status of Diospyros — the "Divine Fruit" or "Wheat of the Gods." In this work, I explore the resilience of memory through the metaphor of the persimmon, which gains its profound sweetness only after enduring the first frost.
The silhouette of Klimt's Tree of Life, rendered in shimmering gold leaf, weaves through the composition like a silver-golden mist of ancestral thoughts. It suggests that our possessions are never just objects; they are witnesses to our personal myths. The vibrant orange energy of the fruit against the ethereal, textured background creates a meditative space, inviting the viewer to listen to the unspoken dialogue between a person and the world of things.
Why this painting is a treasure:
Golden Symbolism: Wrapped in the iconic silhouette of Klimt's "Tree of Life," the golden swirls (created with premium gold leaf/potal) connect the earthly beauty of the fruit with eternal spiritual energy.
The Story of Resilience: Just as the persimmon becomes sweet only after the first frost, this artwork speaks of the wisdom and beauty that come with time and memory.
Luminous Texture: Rich oil layers combined with shimmering gold leaf create a dynamic effect that changes beautifully under different lighting throughout the day.
Perfect for:
A sophisticated focal point for a dining room or living area.
A meaningful gift for someone who appreciates deep symbolism and luxury textures.
Collectors of contemporary Ukrainian fine art.
Artist's Insight:
"I believe that we don't just see an object; we see our own story connected to it. This painting is an invitation to pause, feel, and listen to the unspoken dialogue between your soul and the world." — Tetyana Pchelnikova
