Description
A black and precise line draws the silhouette of a tree with tormented shapes. The marker defines each branch with rigor on a pristine white background. The drawing explores the boundary between chaos and structure. The lines intertwine to reveal a complex organic form. The trunk surges with force before dividing into irregular ramifications. This graphic work highlights the singularity of living by a play of radical contrasts. The eye travels through the roots anchored in a ground sketched with lightness. Each curve seems to be born from a spontaneous gesture to result in a concrete visual reality. The composition is part of an approach of botanical and spiritual observation. This 2026 creation prioritizes the purity of the line and the economy of means. The final rendering focuses on the natural architecture of the tree.
Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
