Two figures can be seen aboard the vessel—one standing, gesturing upward or outward as if signaling or pointing toward the horizon, the other engaged in handling the ropes and guiding the boat's direction. Their presence, small yet vivid, anchors the human element within the expansive world of sea and sky, underscoring the theme of exploration, struggle, and harmony with nature's forces. The sea itself is rendered in luminous shades of blue, green, and turquoise, with strokes of white suggesting the churning foam where the boat cuts through the water. Zhitomir artist Suprunchuk Yuri Sergeevich Born on April 11, 1961, in the city of Zhitomir. Graduated from the Zheleznogorsk Art School, Russia (1982). Teachers in the specialty: V. Chukuev, E. Nikulin. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2002). Major works: "Near the house" (2005), "Winter on the outskirts of Zhitomir" (2006), "Autumn still life" (2004). Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
