Description
This intriguing artwork presents a square canvas where a dynamic vortex of vibrant colors immediately captures the viewer's attention. At its center, an intense red surrounds a radiant yellow, evoking incandescent energy. Gold and ochre hues form a textured frame, reminiscent of organic patterns or aerial views of desert landscapes. Each layer of paint seems to come alive, creating an effect of movement and depth. The layering technique and the use of warm colors enhance the feeling of cosmic wonder. Through its harmonious composition and bold hues, this piece explores the boundary between abstraction and figuration, inviting the viewer to meditative and immersive contemplation.
Presentation
Thierry Deliveyne has been a painter for over 20 years. He was drawn to painting through his work as a photographer. Self-taught, he has developed original techniques.
Thierry Deliveyne paints intuitive abstract compositions, often very colourful. Here he presents his capillary paintings: the multi-pigment, very fluid colour is covered with a flexible plastic sheet. For chemical and physical reasons, the paint runs between the two layers, the pigments separate and create lines and areas of colour. The process is controlled by manipulating the sheet, which is removed after drying.
The result is always a different and original work of art, which each person feels and interprets in their own way.
