Description
This abstract work captivates with its palette of deep reds and vibrant yellows. The rich, complex texture draws the eye, with layers of paint seemingly in motion, reminiscent of boiling lava or cosmic turf. Subtle variations in tone accentuate the composition's dynamism, creating tension between calm and agitated areas. The bold use of red, at the heart of the canvas, emerges like an explosion, suggesting raw, uncontrollable energy. The contrast with the gold and cream hues adds a dimension of warmth and light, guiding the viewer through an intense and captivating visual journey. This piece embodies a balance between chaos and harmony, challenging the traditional perception of abstraction.
Presentation
The Abstract - Search and search again... Put water, ink, inks, matter, test, retest, tilt, blow, send, let dry. Wait. Let it happen, watch, start again... Contemplate the metamorphosis, the path of fluids. This is the search for the Abstract. Each time, it was a real battle with my canvas, but I had so much fun!!!
When we look at the earth from the sky, the images sometimes go beyond our understanding. But we only have to look around us and we see many similarities… One day, returning to the beach after a swim, I was amazed to see the traces of the water that had flowed away during the low tide on the wet sand. Magnificent pictures were offered to my gaze.
Mother Nature reveals to us landscapes so grandiose that we would never have dared to imagine even in our wildest dreams. No artist could match HER perfection. My quest today is to try to recreate conditions so that Mother Nature can work.
