Description
His experiments are multidisciplinary and in touch with the material. The use of poor or sober materials does not require a technology that would overtake it and make it obsolete, but on the contrary encourages stripping, to reopen the field of possibilities.
These materials have in common the fact that they have a much broader semantics than that of the molds in which we want to freeze them over time and in different spaces.
Exhuming is part of his approach, these experimental investigations reveal for him an aesthetic that must be the subject of a plastic presentation.

"Certain thoughts do not escape when pronouncing them, formulating them, figuring them on a canvas. But the major part of them remain abstract, fluid. These thoughts are materials that are not subject to figuration, he is impossible to contain them in the mold of words. They want to tell us that here, words are for those who have nothing to say. "

Presentation

Thomas Loyatho is a French artist born in 1984 in New Aquitaine, he lives in Hasparren and works in La-Bastide-Clairence.

Artistic approach

Thomas Loyatho was born in 1984. His sister, his brother (also a painter) and he grew up in their father's studio (also a painter) like in a playroom! He holds degrees in spatial planning and environmental protection. In addition to being a visual artist, he is a mountain guide.
