Description
This painting is emblematic of Boissonnet's art of the 70s and 80s.
"Moncassin", the enchanted hill is the home of Henriette Bounin, his gallery owner and friend.
One finds there the Kandinsky lyricism of the period of Murnau and the "Blaue reiter".
Large spaces, symphony of colors lovingly worked in oil ... did not the great Pierre Bonnard say to the artist "your colors make love"?
This painting was part of the artist's retrospective exhibition at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux in 2006.
