Presentation
From a young age, the first drawing made at the age of 4, the art of painting has established itself as a vocation.
A native of Marseille, Michael Edery has imposed his style through each of his works and invites us into a colorful universe.
It is in a perfect mastery of the brush that he produces captivating individual portraits, recomposed film scenes, or that he transcribes everyday universes lived by characters from various eras.
His inspirations are as many connotations to cinema, song, fashion and culture.
A synergy between creativity and impertinence gives an aesthetic, emotional, sentimental and even social and moral dimension to his works.
The characters come to life through the canvases with an attitude, a face, a smile, punctuated by words, slogans, sentences.
A way to cross the generations through art.
Distinguishing himself from street art or graffiti, Michael Edery seems to breathe new life into Pop Art, that of a movement halfway between modernity and past riches ...
