Description
The 'Canned' project is the result of the alliance of two French artists, Charlotte Parenteau-Denoël and Mofart'z. They are among the emerging artists of the international contemporary art scene and in particular of street art.
Their common will is to hijack the codes and symbols of the society of overindustrialization and overconsumption and to make fun of them.

Presentation
Charlotte Parenteau-Denoel is a French artist who specializesin hand-made photographic compositions without ever using any kind of photo editing software such as Photoshop.
Inspired by the Surrealists (especially Magritte) and Conceptual Art, she plays with the association of things to create puns and mind games. In her „Canned“ series targets mass production, consumption and homogenization of goods, without ever losing a witty touch.
