The tangible presence of this textile mass reminds us of the foggy sky of his seascapes and illuminates the white canvas veined with touches of grey, blue, pink... The crumpled, bubbled, draped fabrics give a relief and a presence that rivals once again with the dark and nevertheless luminous tints, diluted with poetry and softness that he paints so well.
