Description
Here is the fifth opus of the series "Correspondances". Vertical yellow canvas that crosses a wide brown and multicolored band from which seems to be born improbable forms. It is a large canvas inspired by what our loved ones leave us and the spiritual legacy they leave us in a final dance of memories. It is painted on linen canvas. Due to origin of shipment and the dimensions of this artwork, it will be sent in a secure tube. This method is particularly safe and allows to reduce shipping costs as well. Rolled up works can be easily stretched and possibly framed by a local framer upon arrival. At the reception we recommend that you bring the works directly to the framer for a careful and professional unfolding of the canvas. Unpacking instructions are provided. This piece comes with an official certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Ready to Hang: No. Signature Location: Lower right.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
After artistic studies at Paris, I have been painting in various parts of the world for more than 20 years. From my native Champagne to Crete, Limousin to Benin and after ten years in Madagascar, i have been living in the Reunion island where the varied landscapes are a great inspiration.
Through all the shapes and colors existing in nature, i try to decipher the messages, the vibratory language, by using them as a pure mode of expression, beyond the symbolic, beyond what is recognizable as an object, beyond words, beyond what we can see.
Each of my paintings is a representation of the questions I ask myself, doubts and discoveries, a slice of the experience of my feelings, a graphic interrogation of our existence and our essence.
These are snapshots of my soul.
I paint the world as i perceive it in its mystery.
