Description
This artwork presents a mesmerizing coastal landscape, expertly capturing the interaction between rugged cliffs and tranquil sea. Bathed in natural light, the rocky formations boast intricate textures and varying shades of gray that reveal the artist's mastery in depicting natural geology. The serene turquoise waters gently lap against the shore, offering a striking contrast to the robust cliffs. A whisper of greenery hugs the top edges, suggesting a blend of earth and sea. The artist’s bold use of color and light emphasizes depth and movement, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in this harmonious scene. The brushwork is detailed yet fluid, creating a dynamic and vivid portrayal of nature's untouched beauty. Framed in an understated, elegant border, the piece stands as a testament to the timeless allure of coastal vistas. The rocky coast of Bali in Crete gave me inspiration for a whole month. I painted these stones illuminated by the sun, working with color and texture, while looking for a color solution.
