Description
This is an abstract painting of a bouquet of flowers. It has a dark background in blue and black hues with the bright and contrasting colors popping out. The bright colors are in yellows, pinks, purple and white. Despite the dark background it is a joyful paintings thanks to the vibrant and sparkling colors resembling florals. The layers of paint give the painting texture. Inspiration was found in the flowers and the beauty of their colors. Flowers are a universal and ageless subject.
The flowers paintings of the old masters and impressionists were also a source of inspiration. This painting is ready to hang and is signed on the side of the painting. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. Pictures of the painting in situ are for display purpose only and might not show the painting at a realistic scale.

Artist Statement:
Artist statement
My paintings come from a fascination for landcape and nature in general. It is all around us, with it's beauty and growth everywhere and I love to recreate my own interpretation of this using unique, organic abstract forms.
Through my art I want to take the viewer on a journey to a place of peace, rest and away from the daily life, like an escape to a garden where the viewer can relax and be happy.
Through my use of different color palettes I want to evoke instinctive positive feelings for the viewer, to feel that personal connection with the artwork.
Painting gives me so much pleasure and I ultimately hope that the viewers can also find a sense of personal beauty through my art that conveys to their own happiness.
