Description
In this canvas, the artist has recreated a charming nook of nature where a riot of flowers and greenery unfolds beneath the branches of a majestic tree. Thick and dynamic strokes of paint infuse the scene with texture and vivacity, immersing the viewer in an atmosphere of natural fullness and richness. Contrasting shades of purple and green enliven the image, evoking a wild, yet tended garden that beckons one to marvel at the wonders of nature.
Light filtering through the foliage plays upon the ground, creating depth and volume, conveying a sense of coolness and seclusion under the tree’s canopy on a warm summer day. This painting is not merely a depiction of natural idyll but an invitation to contemplate the perpetual rhythm of life and renewal, symbolized by the flowers joyously blooming in the shade of the tree’s branches.

Presentation
Dasha Pogodina is an experienced Ukrainian artist based in Switzerland whose paintings have been exhibited in Ukraine, Slovenia and Switzerland.
She describes her distinctive figurative works as being about the "here and now" and celebrating the moving moment. Having been forced to flee her country twice due to war, she finds solace and strength in the works of renowned impressionist, Claude Monet.
Pogodina most often creates with oils on canvas.
