Description
The Argentine artist, also artistic director, began to explore his art alongside his profession. His artistic expression is deeply influenced by masters of composition such as Paul Klee, Edward Hopper and James Turrell. This influence is clearly reflected in his artistic creations, which seem to be a continuous play between abstraction and figuration, evoking the gentle ripples of the sea carrying us from one side to the other, while remaining anchored in a constant aesthetic. “The first artist who had a profound impact on me was Paul Klee, from a very young age. Never before had I felt such emotion in front of a work of art.
I felt the same way a few years ago when I visited La Sagrada Familia church. There is something about certain artists’ use of color and composition that always touches me deeply.” - Coco Capuzzi. His first creations take the form of collages, where he combines shapes and colors. In this series in mixed collage technique and painting on cotton paper, the artist offers an almost abstract representation of flowers, playing with simple shapes. The work, signed by hand.
