Description
This artwork is a mesmerizing exploration of movement and color, featuring two spiraling forms that intersect at the center. The left side spirals from a cool purple to a soothing green, while the right gracefully transitions from a warm yellow to a vibrant orange-red. These spirals are composed of meticulously painted dots, demonstrating a pointillist technique that adds texture and vibrancy. The composition is dynamic yet balanced, embodying a sense of harmonious opposition. The central convergence point serves as both a focal anchor and a symbol of unity, drawing the viewer's eye inward. Radiating outwards, the spirals create a sense of motion that is both fluid and rhythmic, evoking a feeling of perpetual energy and transformation. This piece's unique interplay of complementary colors and meticulous technique highlights an exploration of dualities, balance, and cosmic harmony. The artist’s precision in dot placement and color gradient creates an evocative visual journey, inviting reflection on the cyclical nature of life and the interdependent forces within the universe.
Presentation
I graduated from the Fine Arts Institute in Romania. After completing my studies, I began working for a renowned porcelain manufacturer, where I designed and painted porcelain vases. After immigrating to the United States with my husband, in New Jersey, I worked for a hand-painted tile company and eventually became their lead designer.
Together with my husband, we started our own tile company, where I created large custom murals — landscapes, flowers, and other decorative pieces. After my husband passed away, I began painting in oil and acrylic on canvas. My greatest gift in life is my talent for painting.
