Description
The maritime diversity of colors, shapes and the complexity of nature by the sea - its power, delicacy, its rhythms, its phenomena... - is an important source of inspiration for my maritime paintings.
Here is an abstract painting in extreme format with an intense color spectrum that focuses on the three primary colors blue, yellow and red-orange and is complemented by turquoise, lilac and white tones. The motif shows sailing boats in the distance in the sunset, which is reflected on the water. Being on the move with a feeling of freedom, becoming one with the wind, absorbing the fascination of nature and its powers, observing fish, coasts and waves...
Presentation
Peter Nottrott is a painter who feels at home in abstract painting. He works with acrylic on the largest possible canvases, up to 3.5 square meters.
The most important thing in his work is the creative freedom for his authentic way of painting. This means he is in his large, atmospheric studio in Flenburg, has brushes and paints ready and a large white canvas in front of him. He loves to immerse himself completely in painting - that's when he loses all sense of time and surroundings. It's almost like being in a trance-like state. This kind of freedom allows Peter Nottrott to infuse as much dynamic power and positive energy into his paintings as possible. Peter loves to compose different color combinations and shapes into a painting, and he likes to pass on his love of art to all who see and enjoy his work.
He has sold paintings to more than 30 countries worldwide, so his large collector base is international. Many Nottrott paintings hang in the United States, but also In in United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong or Japan, and of course in Germany and many European countries, the colorful works shine and bring the inclined viewer to enjoy positive energy.
