Description
Super Mario in the picture is a representative of computer games. Modern children are obsessed with computer games, and even forget to eat and sleep in order to get high scores. They don't care about the relationship between family members, don't make friends, and know little about history and traditional culture. The Great Wall of China is world-famous. It has a long history and carries thousands of years of traditional culture. Super Mario is lost in the majestic Great Wall, just like children are lost in the game world. When will they wake up?
Note：
The Lines was created by knife carving on oil material. This is artist's unique artistic style.
Luxurious outer frame is for free for this super artwork, with plexiglas in front of the screen.
With frame 62 x 72 cm
Presentation
Jia Yuan-Yua is a Chinese artist born in 1980 who lives and works in Beijing, China. Jia works mainly with oil and acrylic in his painting. His contemporary artworks focus on social issues such as the protection of historical buildings, the inheritance of traditional culture, the conflict between tradition and contemporary times, education reform and the sustainable development of the natural ecological environment. There are two main forms of expression in his works. One is a common realistic technique known for paintings. The other is to use an oil painting knife for carving on the surface of the oil onto the canvas but the artist also creates lines in his artworks to express the outline of objects either existed or vanished.
