Hell'O Collective   Emerging artists

Hell'O is a couple of artists composed by Jerôme Meynen and Antoine Detaille who, through their creative approach, characterized by extreme freedom compared to conventions, as well as by a rigorous execution, produce a fertile imaginary and fantastic world, sometimes grotesque but always poetic. It is a strange fantastic beast, populated by enigmatic and vaguely anthropomorphic animals, by creatures without sex, with shapes and symbols derived from the iconography of fairy tales, fairy tales and other medieval allegories, from ancient and contemporary myths, but also from vanity , esotericism and surrealism. Death, hope, failure, optimism, frivolity, animality, cruelty, compulsion and the desire for control are the most frequent themes in Hell'O's works.

Using short narrative sequences, which are sometimes juxtaposed, and a healthy dose of humor and mockery, the duo rails against man's weaknesses in compositions that combine metaphysical reflections and pure non-sense, exposing the mystery and the free interpretation of the observer .
