Description
In this piece, I sought to capture the essence of elegance and mystery entwined with minimalism. Using pastel, pencil, and charcoal, I embraced a semi-abstract style to focus on the dramatic interplay of shadow and light. The vivid red glove acts as a bold statement, contrasting delicately against the soft grays and whites, symbolizing the dual nature of visibility and invisibility in human personas. This work invites contemplation on the layers of identity that we wear and the secrets we hold. Bringing this into your home adds a touch of refined intrigue, inspiring stories untold yet deeply felt.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
