Description
In this painting, I embraced the raw dynamics of emotion and movement, capturing the interaction of light and shadow through bold acrylic strokes. The monochromatic palette heightens the drama, allowing the textures and layers to convey a tempest of feelings—resilience, solitude, and transformation. It's a piece that invites introspection and adds a profound, thought-provoking presence to any space, echoing the complex beauty of the human condition.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
