This work attempts to capture a dreamlike and fragmented space, where appearance and disappearance intertwine with intensity. The pictorial gesture, in successive layers and transparency, evokes an oscillation between the present and the past, as if each brushstroke wanted to freeze an evanescent memory. The warm colors, dominated by reds, ochres and touches of blue, reinforce an impression of warmth, contrasting with colder forms and more abstract touches. The collage brings an element into this blurred composition, highlighting a reality that deforms and recomposes itself.

The mirror effect is seen in the translucent forms, where a silhouette could be a spectral self-portrait, a double of oneself observing the interior as well as the exterior landscape. This double dialogue between shadow and light, between surface and depth, generates a feeling of duality: being both in the world and in a more intimate, more personal dimension.

The traces left by the brushstrokes give the impression of an unfinished journey, a passage from one reality to another. "Reflection of the Desert" brings a strong connotation to travel, to exploration, but also to solitude, a space where one gets lost and finds oneself at the same time. The landscape in the background dissolves into an abstraction that leaves room for interpretation, reinforcing the idea of resilience and continuity despite the erosion of time.
