Description
This intense female portrait is made in acrylic on a 3D canvas, mounted on a wooden frame.
Warm tones dominate this painting. We find the artist's semi-abstract style with this very expressive portrait, melted into color.
The emphasis is on the deep gaze of the female model, and the emotion that results from it.
Work of art signed by the artist and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
Presentation
Nathalie Cubéro is a French painter and gilder. The artist excels in semi-abstract portraiture as well as pure abstraction, working with materials and colors. Her works are exhibited internationally.
Nathalie Cubéro's work is structured around several techniques that could almost be described as opposites: the artist is adept at spontaneous brushstrokes in acrylic, but also at more academic techniques such as gilding. The precious side of gold gives her works an almost mystical, even iconic, appearance.
Nathalie Cubéro's work is intended to be above all human, instinctive and emotional. The strong contrasts that emerge from it seek to suggest a certain power, that of the emotions of the living. Color is the vector of all these emotional states that the artist stages.
Made from personal or fictional stories, Nathalie Cubéro's works suggest, thus titillating the spectator's imagination.
