Description
This abstract artwork is a dynamic symphony of colors and textures, distinguished by its emotional depth and vibrant expressiveness. Dominated by shades of mauve, blue, and orange, the painting captivates the viewer's eye with its swirling forms and bold strokes. Vigorous brushstrokes create a sense of relentless motion, evoking a chaotic yet harmonious whirlwind. Delicate drips descend from the top of the canvas, adding a dimension of fluidity and striking contrast to the more opaque color blocks. In areas where the paint appears to fade, underlying layers become visible, adding complexity and inviting continuous exploration. The arrangement of colors and shapes offers an open interpretation, stimulating imagination and introspection. This artwork does not merely allure with its aesthetics; it engages with its capacity to provoke deep reflection on the intrinsic chaos and harmony of human nature. A masterpiece that captures the essence of non-figurative art through its ability to communicate without words.
Presentation
Emily STARCK is a French artist evolving in abstract expressionism guided by her deep emotions. Hypersensitive, she often needs to isolate herself from the world and noise, she recharges in nature, it is there that she mainly draws her inspiration. She likes to work with mixed techniques and is often recognized for her quality as a colorist.
She prefers to express herself on large formats, allowing for a fluid and uncluttered gesture. She paints directly on the canvas, on the wall or on the floor when the format is too large. Then, she creates a custom frame for the finished work. She likes to compare the abstract to a musical improvisation; there is nothing to guess, see, or recognize, just emotions to feel, which will echo each person's experience.
His works are exhibited in museums in Russia in particular, following his Plein Air residency at the Oldenburg Palace in 2017, and also in Greece.
