Description
17STRASH
"Dialogue" by Alexander Strashevich presents a mesmerizing abstract composition of two figures in a harmonious yet contemplative stance, set against a backdrop that hints at dusk or dawn with warm, ethereal tones. The figures, sculptural and interlinked, embody a sense of silent communication, suggesting a deep, perhaps unspoken connection between them. The crescent moon and circular shape above evoke celestial symbolism, as if casting light on the sacredness of human interaction. Through simplified forms and an atmospheric palette, Strashevich captures the intimacy and mystery of dialogue—the connection between souls that transcends words. The painting invites viewers to ponder the nature of human relationships, communication, and the spiritual connections that exist beyond verbal language.
Presentation
Born 1951 in Odessa, Ukraine 1970 – graduated from the Odessa Art College. Grekova. 1975-1990 – worked as a muralist. 1977 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1970 – participant of city, all-Ukrainian and foreign exhibitions. The creative heritage of Alexander Strashevich includes not only works of monumental painting, but also paintings of building interiors, exterior mosaics, and sculptural works. In his work, Alexander prefers a modern plastic and color worldview, which allows him to harmoniously combine his works with modern interiors, including those in the high-tech style. His works show a plastic connection between sculpture and painting. He prefers abstract and postmodern styles, although he also writes realistic works.
