Description
11STRASH
"Excitement" by Alexander Strashevich is an abstract exploration of heightened emotional energy, represented through dynamic shapes, vibrant patterns, and bold contrasts. The spirals and elongated forms evoke the feeling of movement and intensity, symbolizing the stirring nature of excitement. The interplay of warm yellow and cool blue tones suggests both anticipation and tension, while the layered, organic shapes embody the unpredictability and complexity of emotions. Through rhythmic lines and overlapping elements, the painting portrays excitement as an experience of both internal turmoil and exhilaration. Strashevich invites the viewer to connect with the emotional surge depicted, reflecting the balance between chaos and harmony that comes with moments of heightened sensation.
Presentation
Born 1951 in Odessa, Ukraine 1970 – graduated from the Odessa Art College. Grekova. 1975-1990 – worked as a muralist. 1977 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1970 – participant of city, all-Ukrainian and foreign exhibitions. The creative heritage of Alexander Strashevich includes not only works of monumental painting, but also paintings of building interiors, exterior mosaics, and sculptural works. In his work, Alexander prefers a modern plastic and color worldview, which allows him to harmoniously combine his works with modern interiors, including those in the high-tech style. His works show a plastic connection between sculpture and painting. He prefers abstract and postmodern styles, although he also writes realistic works.
