Description

In Jasmine by Anastasia Yaroshevich, the artist beautifully captures the delicate essence of jasmine flowers arranged in a glass vase. The white blossoms stand out against a soft, muted background, giving the painting a serene, almost ethereal quality. The lush green leaves contrast with the pale petals, highlighting the purity and simplicity of the composition. Yaroshevich's work conveys a sense of tranquility and admiration for the natural beauty of everyday life. Through her portrayal of the jasmine, she invites the viewer to appreciate the elegance found in small, quiet moments. The painting radiates calmness, suggesting a deep appreciation for nature's fleeting details and the gentle joy they bring.

A distinctive feature of her work is emotional saturation, which is manifested in color and tonal contrasts, sonorous color, often built on a combination of pure colors. In the paintings of Anastasia Yaroshevich, simultaneous realism and decorativeness of form coexist syncretically, and an expressive colorful arrangement. An important role is played by the stroke, which simultaneously models the shape and organizes the movement on the canvas. One of the leading means of expression, regardless of genre and material, is lighting, both natural and artificial. In the artist's still lifes, the materiality, primarily of glass objects, comes to the fore. When choosing characters for portraits, she prefers the purity of female and children's images. Filled with positive emotions, the open, lively, sincere work of Anastasia Yaroshevich fully corresponds to the most popular phenomenon in art and design today, Modern Positive Art.
