Description
Dobr808
This oil painting, entitled "Water Wears Away Stone," is an abstract depiction of a river bend, with a rock in the foreground and a forest beyond the river. The painting is done in a muted palette of blues and greens, giving it a tranquil and serene feeling. The title of the painting refers to the power of water to slowly but surely erode even the hardest of rocks over time. This is a metaphor for the power of nature, and how even the strongest and most unflinching objects must eventually give way to its inexorable force. The painting is signed by the artist, making it a unique and collectible work of art.
