Description
This work features a woman surrounded by colorful yarns, with tones of red, blue, and yellow dominating the composition. The yarns intertwine around her arms and face, creating an intriguing visual dynamic. The artist skillfully exploits the texture and movement of the yarns to symbolize a complex connection between the model and her environment. The woman's piercing gaze, partially veiled by a red ball of yarn, sustains a tension between vulnerability and discovery. The dark background highlights the vividness of the colors, heightening the work's drama. The minute details, such as the highlights on the lips and the precision of the hands, demonstrate the artist's technical mastery. This painting boldly fuses realism and abstraction, evoking a conversation about the intertwining of identities and emotions in the fabric of life.
Presentation
I like to let my imagination wander beyond the windows. I like this symbol which leaves the opening in both directions; The escape into the unknown and the invitation into my imagination.
My motto: "Painting is an art that exists only through the sharing of emotions, first with oneself, then with others ..."
Regarding his work on the nude and his approach to the body: “I like to extend the curves, so as not to delimit the voluptuousness… Accentuated by the most representative color, in my opinion, red. But the other colors are absorbed in order to project into different atmospheres. "
He has exhibited regularly since 1981.
