Description
This vibrant painting captures a seascape at dusk, where the sky and sea merge in a symphony of colors. The vibrant shades of blue, orange and yellow intertwine to create a luminous and dreamy effect. A lone figure, holding a red umbrella, stands on a rocky promontory, adding a touch of mystery and solitude to the whole. The setting sun, half-submerged in the horizon, casts golden reflections on the calm water, reinforcing the peaceful and meditative mood. The moving clouds seem to follow the gentle curve of the sea, symbolizing the harmony between the natural elements. The delicate texture of the brushstrokes gives the painting a captivating depth and dynamics, transporting the viewer into an immersive and poetic visual experience.
Presentation
Self-taught French painter, trained in various courses and workshops but also at the School of Fine Arts in Narbonne, Christine Desplanque draws her inspiration from currents as varied as Impressionism, Intuitism and Resilience Art.
His bright and colorful paintings are an ode to nature: they do not seek to describe it or to represent it, but rather to allow each sensibility to walk there, as one wanders in oneself.
The book "Reminiscences" by Christine Desplanque and Rémi Grassart was published in 2022 by Humbird and Curley, presenting part of her artistic universe. She receives the public prize at the 8th International Salon of Resilience Art.
For the past few years, Christine Desplanque has been holding exhibitions in her region, in Paris, and one is planned for London in July 2023.
