Description
This captivating artwork depicts a seascape of hypnotic beauty. The predominant blue evokes the serene depths of the ocean, while lighter shades capture the light dancing on the waves. On the horizon, a vibrant sunrise bathes the sky and sea in a golden glow, creating a striking contrast with the surrounding blue darkness. The painting technique, with its delicate brushstrokes, adds a striking texture, bringing the scene almost to life. At the top, circular shapes suggest the presence of foliage or clouds, adding a mysterious and dreamlike dimension. Rich in detail and emotion, this work invites the viewer to a soothing and awestruck contemplation of nature.
Presentation
Self-taught French painter, trained in various courses and workshops but also at the School of Fine Arts in Narbonne, Christine Desplanque draws her inspiration from currents as varied as Impressionism, Intuitism and Resilience Art.
His bright and colorful paintings are an ode to nature: they do not seek to describe it or to represent it, but rather to allow each sensibility to walk there, as one wanders in oneself.
The book "Reminiscences" by Christine Desplanque and Rémi Grassart was published in 2022 by Humbird and Curley, presenting part of her artistic universe. She receives the public prize at the 8th International Salon of Resilience Art.
For the past few years, Christine Desplanque has been holding exhibitions in her region, in Paris, and one is planned for London in July 2023.
