Description
Klish 37
Andriy Klishyn's painting "Landscape of Contrasting Dawn" captures the dramatic beauty of the early morning sky, where fiery hues of red, orange, and yellow blend seamlessly to create an intense and vivid atmosphere. The bold contrast between the luminous dawn and the dark, textured foreground enhances the sense of depth and emotion in the composition. The landscape appears rugged, with rough, expressive brushstrokes suggesting a terrain shaped by time and elements. Small bushes and vegetation stand resilient against the dramatic backdrop, illuminated by the first light of the day. The contrast between the warm, glowing sky and the cool, shadowed land evokes a powerful sense of transition—a moment between night and day, darkness and light.Through this work, Klishyn conveys the energy and intensity of a new beginning. The dawn represents renewal, hope, and change, while the dramatic contrast in tones emphasizes the balance of opposites in nature and life. The painting invites viewers to embrace the beauty of transformation and the emotional depth found in the quiet power of the natural world.

The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
