Description
Klish 60
Andriy Klishyn's painting "Pink Horizon" is a striking and atmospheric exploration of color and emotion. The composition is divided into two distinct sections: the earthy, textured land below and the vast expanse of a vibrant pink sky above. The deep, layered brushstrokes give the piece a sense of movement, as if the horizon is glowing with the last light of the day or the first whispers of dawn. The use of an intense pink palette creates a dreamlike and almost surreal effect, transforming an ordinary landscape into a scene of heightened emotion and otherworldly beauty. The subtle transition of colors at the horizon line suggests the fleeting nature of light, a moment of change between day and night, reality and imagination.Through "Pink Horizon", Klishyn invites the viewer to reflect on nature's ability to inspire awe and introspection. The painting conveys a sense of calm, yet its bold color choices evoke passion and energy, symbolizing the beauty of transition and the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the horizon.

The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
