Mer Rouge - Collection Vibrations, 2024

Géraldine Auret   New & remarkable Artists

This abstract painting immediately catches the eye with its chromatic intensity. A bright, intense, and vibrant red background evokes passionate and dynamic emotions. The intertwined gray strokes form irregular patterns, creating a sense of movement and depth. Each brushstroke appears both calculated and spontaneous, adding a tactile texture and unique dimension to the work. The juxtaposition of the vibrant red and muted gray creates a striking contrast, prompting the viewer to question the emotions and meanings behind these abstract forms.

In this collection, Géraldine Auret incorporates the notion of the present moment, using bright, pure, often contrasting colors to create a vibration and energy that go beyond the simple movement visible on the canvas. Her work evolves in resonance with her own life and emotions, and through this process, she seeks to capture the ephemeral moment of existence, already past, which she immortalizes. Through her gestures, her arabesques, and her colors, she challenges the eye and the mind, inviting us to grasp the transience of life, while emphasizing its profound value. This work is not only a visual testimony, but a call to fully enjoy each moment.
