Description
A striking graphic composition where movement is inscribed in matter.
The image captures a dense spiral, a metallic coil that seems to stretch with mathematical precision.
The contrast is marked.
The deep black of the lines stands out against a solar yellow background.
A wide red stroke crosses the surface.
It brings visual tension, like a spontaneous projection or a chromatic tear.
This collision between the rigor of the circle and the freedom of the blot creates an unstable balance.
The aquatint technique allows for saturated flat areas and subtle grains.
The repetition of the rings suggests an infinite rotation, a hypnotic rhythm.
The whole plays on the superposition of pigment layers.
The print, created in 2010, explores the relationship between chaos and order.
The eye circulates between the linear structure and the organic drips.
The precise execution emphasizes the mastery of the line.
The work presents itself as a study on centrifugal force.
The final rendering relies on the intensity of primary colors.
