Description
This Spanish painter and sculptor draws his inspiration from the duality of the individual, from what affects him internally and externally.
With his characters dressed in traditional Basque costumes, Alberto Letamendi shows us his vision of solidarity, as a note of hope. The human warmth given off by the bright colours, refers to the idea of communion and unity that exists in his territory.
Alberto is exhibited around the world. In 2019, he inaugurated a sculpture "Elkarri Begirra" commissioned by the city of Tolosa (Spain), to celebrate the peace process in the Basque Country.
