Description
The painting is an oil on canvas and depicts a tranquil scene of cranes flying over a waterway surrounded by misty forest. The focus is on two cranes, one to the right and one to the left of the painting, flying low over the bright waterway. In the background, rays of sunlight filter through the treetops, casting light onto a pond in the middle of the forest, with leaves tinted in shades of purple and pink, and branches a dull grey-green. The sky, which occupies the top of the canvas, fades from pure white to pale yellow, evoking the early hours of the morning when the sun is just rising. The tranquil atmosphere is enhanced by the reflection of the bright light on the water, contrasting with the dimly lit forest, creating a slightly dramatic and mysterious atmosphere.
