Escape from the Grid – Cat Meets Mondrian, 2024

Victo

This oil on linen piece is a vibrant collision of structure and spontaneity. With a wink to Mondrian's compositions, it features a dashing tabby in mid-leap, humorously breaking through the grid of primary colors and bold lines.

The playful nature of the cat against the stark geometry of the background creates a delightful tension. It's a visual commentary on rules, rebellion, and feline independence. Ideal for collectors who enjoy modernist references with a twist.

Colors used in the painting:

Red, blue, black, white, with a touch of yellow.
