A lively celebration of music, whimsy, and color.
This joyful oil painting bursts with personality, featuring a wide-eyed musician lost in the enchantment of his saxophone's melody. Against a richly textured, brilliant blue backdrop, the scene captures a playful moment where sound and imagination intertwine—a little red bird perched nearby as if listening, perhaps even singing along.
The artist's use of bold textures, shimmering gold highlights, and exaggerated, almost childlike forms gives the piece a sense of wonder and unfiltered happiness. It's a painting that reminds us of the magic found in simple joys and the universal language of music.

David completed his secondary education in 2013 and was accepted into the Shushi State Humanitarian College named after Arsen Khachatryan, where he specialized as a master painter. After graduating in 2017, he served in the Armenian Armed Forces and later took part in the 44-day war in 2020 as well as the one-day conflict in 2023.
In 2019, he enrolled in the Gyourjyan Institute of Applied Arts, where he pursued a degree in design and successfully graduated in 2023. Over the years, David has actively participated in various symposiums and group exhibitions, showcasing his artistic talent and unique vision.
Due to the war, David and his family now hold refugee status and currently reside in Vagharshapat, Armenia, where he continues to create and develop his artistic practice. He is married and has a son.
