Description
The work “Tracking" suggests a map that pays homage to the cosmology of the sacred snake, with pictorial interventions evoking the Malayalam language, created in Kerala-India by Italian-Australian artist Virginia Ryan.
This dynamic artwork presents a complex network of swirling lines and dots, vividly placed on a soft yellow background. The work captivates with its bold black, red and orange lines that intersect and intertwine, creating a sense of movement and depth. The intricate network of finer, delicate lines and scattered dots adds layers of texture and complexity. This interplay of bold and subtle elements creates a harmonious and chaotic energy. The choice of a warm, earthy color palette with varying intensities adds to the visual impact. The abstract nature of the work encourages different interpretations, making it a captivating piece that engages the imagination.
