This painting captures the fleeting beauty of the final moments of daylight as the setting sun casts a warm, golden glow over a quiet Ukrainian village. The vivid blue of the wooden houses contrasts sharply with the muted earth tones of the surrounding landscape, while the fiery autumn leaves of a solitary tree stand out against the darkening sky. The thick, expressive brushstrokes convey a sense of texture and depth, capturing the raw, rugged charm of rural life. Shvachunov uses this scene to express the ephemeral nature of time, emphasizing the contrast between the warmth of human habitation and the cool, enveloping darkness of the approaching night. Teacher of painting and drawing at Sumy Higher School of Culture and Arts. D. Bortniansky in 1995-2004, in the SDPU them. AS Makarenko - since 2004. Participant in regional, republican and international exhibitions.
The works are stored in the contemporary art gallery of Wurtt (Germany), the Sumy Art Museum, the Lebedin Art Museum; in galleries, private collections of Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, Holland, Italy, USA, Canada.
