Description
Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of this painting, where colors and movements intertwine to evoke the poetry of coastal landscapes. The artist plays with undulating shapes and vivid hues to express the profound unity between sea, land, and humankind.
Here, movement is not limited to the powerful waves crashing against the shore: it also crosses the land, whose colored bands—green, brown, red—also seem to undulate like waves. This pictorial dynamic evokes a world in perpetual motion, where the elements respond to and influence one another.
The house, a white silhouette leaning against the coast, fits naturally into this landscape. It is not an intruder, but an integral part of this living nature. Its marked presence reminds us that human beings are one with their environment, between sky, earth and sea.
This unique work will appeal to lovers of expressive landscapes and bold compositions.
Presentation
Odile Pinto-Corbin is an award-winning artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Switzerland and Germany.
After a scientific career as a nuclear chemistry doctor, she turned to an artistic life. Her training led her to explore various workshops in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and then France, where she perfected her technique. She is now part of the Dictionary of Artists Registered. She has sold to the United States, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, and of course, France.
Her experience as a chemist gave her a unique perception of colors. Now, in her painting, she attempts bold associations, seeking to master the balance between contrast and harmony.
The artist seeks abstraction on a concrete base. And lets the viewer get lost in a labyrinth of free thought.
