Description

This work depicts an abstract cityscape bathed in pastel tones, dominated by pink and gold. The buildings rise majestically on either side, appearing to float on a calm expanse of water that reflects their slender silhouettes. The golden texturizing adds sophistication and depth, creating a captivating metallic effect. Three graceful sailboats sail in the center, introducing a touch of movement and freedom. The sky, in the background, emerges in a luminous gradient, evoking a peaceful dawn. The accentuated verticality of the buildings contrasts harmoniously with the fluidity of the water. This evocative composition invites reflection on the balance between nature and urbanization, while seducing with its modern and contemplative allure.

Presentation

"Rose Passalboni has been interested in art since her high school years in Corsica where she takes lessons with an excellent teacher, Mr Deguilhen. From 1995, she takes lessons at" Atelier Grégoire "where painters meet every week at the "Moulin de Baussy" to exercise and pool their talents. She will have her first exhibitions at the Château de Tourrettes sur Loup. Quickly passionate, she adopts a romantic style and is particularly inspired by the precursors of Impressionism Claude Monet and William Turner. His island of beauty, with its varied landscapes, between sea and mountain, repeatedly guide his imagination and his brushes, and in another tone the French Riviera with its natural effervescence gives him an interpretation of elements which will become very singular. After beginnings in charcoal, she worked for a long time in oil painting to concentrate today on acrylic which she particularly appreciates. In its modernity, its luminosity, its shimmering colors as well as the thickness of its material that it can work with a knife generously. Rose Passalboni expresses her creativity in various ways, it is through portraits, still lifes and landscapes that she offers the world her vision of life. His figurative style works are imbued with gentleness, romanticism and sincerity. Some of his photographs have allowed him to immortalize, and to share on his paintings moments that marked his mind or quite simply favorites. Always eager for knowledge in this field, she travels the galleries of Saint-Paul de Vence, the exhibitions of the Côte d'Azur, Corsica, anything that could develop her creativity. Over the years her technique has been refined, and all the artistic encounters she has had have enabled her to enrich her knowledge and her technique. Today she thrives in contemporary abstract art in acrylic and mixed media by combining various materials and gold leaf. She feels a free artist and the abstract has become a way for her to stimulate her imagination and escape from reality. »Artmajeur Platinium Prize 2017 Artmajeur Platinium Prize 2018
