Description
Litv 1128
"Angel" by Ukrainian artist Daniil Litvinov is an emotionally charged and expressive composition rendered in bold, gestural strokes and vibrant, contrasting colors. The central figure of the angel, depicted with powerful blue-green wings and an elongated form, descends from above into a group of human figures frozen in awe, grief, and reverence. The chaotic energy and fluid lines convey a scene of divine intervention or revelation — a moment where the heavenly intersects with the earthly. The figures surrounding the angel, some reaching upward, others kneeling or clasping their hands, suggest a collective yearning for salvation, hope, or guidance. Litvinov's abstract yet figurative approach evokes the rawness of human emotion in times of crisis or transformation. Through this dynamic and symbolic work, the artist reflects on themes of spiritual awakening, redemption, and the fragile boundary between light and darkness.
