Description
Young Man with Headphones is a creation featuring a 1920s portrait of a young German man.
After restoring the colors and varnish, the artist wanted to leave the vintage look present on this canvas by partially restoring the work and boldly modernized it by adding white headphones to the character, THE symbol of the 2000s with the launch of the iPod in 2001.
This work is also the only creation by the artist that can be presented on both sides.
On the back of the work, the artist has restored a vintage universe by adding mentions, signatures and other accessories. A tab allows the work to be hung on its front and to present its back,

Presentation
André Schulze is an abstract and surrealist painter specializing in the restoration and revision of old paintings.
The artist is known for transforming German artworks dating from the 1900s to the 1950s by adding contemporary images, thus placing them in the modern realm.
André Schulze also stands out for his pixelated bouquets and his abstract landscapes in icy, neon tones.
André Schulze holds a degree in Fine Arts and a Master's degree from the Dresden University of Fine Arts. André is drawn to obsolescence, fascinated by architecture, advertising, technology, and cars of the past.
Originally from Dresden, East Germany, André Schulze grew up in the German Democratic Republic in the early 1980s. This period, as well as East German and Eastern European architecture and landscapes, strongly influenced his work.
