Description
This artwork presents a striking interplay of geometric forms and vibrant hues. At its core, overlapping polygonal shapes in vivid orange command attention against a lush green backdrop. The angular forms are intersected by bold white lines that slice through the composition, creating dynamic tension and movement. Vertical textured stripes of a deeper amber add depth and dimension, evoking a sense of balance and harmony. The deliberate arrangement of colors and shapes creates a rhythmic pattern, inviting viewers to explore the boundaries and intersections within the piece. This artwork embodies a harmonious blend of color theory and spatial dynamics, capturing a moment of abstract complexity and inviting contemplation.
Presentation
Jean-Luc Veret is a French artist born in 1953 who lives & works between Paris & Corancy, France. He recognizes himself as a protean artist. He is indeed graduated of Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts of Paris & Conservatoire National des Arts & Métiers. This originality is easily found in his artworks. They are entirely part of abstraction in playing a constant game between forms ans colors. The latter are opposing and harmonizing. For the painter, his artworks are a pure contrast between the visible and the invisible.
