Description
This artwork is a striking exploration of color and form, characterized by dynamic interplay between bold red and vibrant yellow brushstrokes. Set against an orange background, the composition radiates warmth and energy. The vertical strokes vary in opacity and texture, creating a sense of movement and depth. The red brushstrokes are assertive and prominent, commanding attention, while the yellow strokes introduce contrast and balance. The subtle interplay of colors, with red occasionally bleeding into yellow, evokes a sense of fluidity. This abstract piece challenges viewers to engage with its harmonious yet contrasting elements, highlighting the emotive power of color. These unique aspects make the artwork a captivating study in color dynamics and abstract expression, inviting endless interpretation.
Presentation
Jean-Luc Veret is a French artist born in 1953 who lives & works between Paris & Corancy, France. He recognizes himself as a protean artist. He is indeed graduated of Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts of Paris & Conservatoire National des Arts & Métiers. This originality is easily found in his artworks. They are entirely part of abstraction in playing a constant game between forms ans colors. The latter are opposing and harmonizing. For the painter, his artworks are a pure contrast between the visible and the invisible.
