The central focus of the painting is the weathered wooden boat resting on the shore, partially pulled up onto the sand. Its hull is rendered in earthy browns and soft greens, with subtle touches of white and red on the edges, giving the impression of age, use, and craftsmanship. The boat's orientation suggests it has just returned from a journey across the waters, or perhaps is waiting to be taken out again, resting momentarily as the sea continues its endless motion. Zhitomir artist Suprunchuk Yuri Sergeevich Born on April 11, 1961, in the city of Zhitomir. Graduated from the Zheleznogorsk Art School, Russia (1982). Teachers in the specialty: V. Chukuev, E. Nikulin. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2002). Major works: "Near the house" (2005), "Winter on the outskirts of Zhitomir" (2006), "Autumn still life" (2004). Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
